the focus is analog: collage, zine-making, hand lettering, photocopy experimentation, and ink. limited screens, limited editing apps. just paper, scissors, markers, a photocopier, and whatever printing resources are available.
format
workshops run 1-2 weeks, with daily sessions of 2-3 hours. sessions are led by lorin brown and 1-2 additional designers depending on workshop size. they can be tailored to different age groups (middle school through adult) and adapted to your space and schedule. final outcomes include saddle-stitched zines, poster walls, and a closing share where participants present their work and process.

students explore sampling and remixing as creative tools. they build a shared visual library from found imagery, photographs, and hand-drawn elements, then transform it into collaborative zines and modular poster installations. the work is rooted in ideas from remix culture: borrowing, recontextualizing, and making something new from what already exists.
