nike acg local hikes & guides
collaborated with the nike acg team on a set of illustrated hiking guides for new york city. part of a partnership between nike acg and the new york city parks department to get youth and outdoor enthusiasts outside.
goal
create illustrations for a hiking guide series covering all five boroughs. each guide needed to feel distinctly acg while capturing the character of its specific location.
approach
one hike per borough, each with its own illustrated guide. the work needed to balance the acg visual language with the personality of each neighborhood and trail. designed for the nike app and instagram, built to get people moving.
outcome
a complete set of hiking guides that brought acg's outdoor ethos to the city. no matter where you live in new york, there's an adventure nearby.
